Zero knowledge by design
Your secrets never leave your device unencrypted
The sync server only ever sees ciphertext. It cannot read your vault, and neither can anyone who breaks into it.
Encrypted on your device
Hosts, keys, passwords and notes are encrypted locally with a random root key before anything is sent.
Only ciphertext is synced
The server stores encrypted blobs and the metadata needed to deliver them. No password reset can decrypt them.
Unlocked on devices you approve
A new device joins your vault only after you approve it from one you already trust.
